Imagine the worst picture of you from your school days or from a wedding that is published on social networking sites, and now imagine that this picture is widely circulated and the pioneers of social networking sites design funny “memes” about it. In fact, that's life for the famous faces behind our favorite funny memes, but fortunately, although the internet may not be forgotten, it does offer new opportunities.

Memes have become a new virtual medium, separate from any language or affiliation in and of themselves. They have become like television, radio, and books, and campaigns with a real impact have come to determine the destinies of peoples and countries. The public has a powerful role and the Internet has become it's

most powerful and perhaps the only enabling tool at times, beginning with the revolutions that have turned into a meme in itself - the fact that “memes” require the interaction of their masses of users to give a clear identity and sometimes a way of life and common expressions like Donald Trump's victory in the elections. In addition, it has become a social currency and has become heroes, and small communities have formed on these networks whose ideas and

affiliations are nourished according to the number of posts or followers.

Social networking sites seized images of memes strongly until it became a new diwan for people to find in it an outlet for them away from the pressures of daily life through the circulation of these images among themselves. Statements by a public figure, commenting on them in the form of a comic. While some of them created funny cartoon characters, to make certain projections that mobilize public opinion against some decisions and issues.

Its first global spread was on Facebook to present jokes, especially those dealing with celebrities, whether in art, politics, or others. At the beginning of 2011, this type of expression became closely related to the protests that erupted in the Arab streets, especially in Tunisia and Egypt, where alternative means of expression to traditional media became the only means for young people to present their ideas. This art has seen great popularity on many pages and groups on social networks, following the revolutions of the Arab Spring, where it has become a haven for many young amateurs by quoting phrases of a humorous nature from dramas

or films to ridicule a specific issue or event. She believes that the reason for the demand for it is to exploit the success of this type of art in communicating the idea clearly and quickly.

Memes are an important part of the culture of this generation immersed in the Internet, as it is considered a product that is open to participation by everyone, each who puts his add. Memes are somewhat similar to "trends" and what separates them is that they require more personal and creative involvement. The nature of memes is also similar to a group of video games, for example, the game “Minecraft”, the second best-selling game in history, which is based on providing an open world for players to build and develop their own world, and not in playing according to specific instructions and stages as is usual in games. The nature of the game corresponds to the memes in this aspect, the aspect of reproduction and arrangement to form new words and ideas.
