Samet Binkanat (Digital Archive)

Archives have been of great importance from the past to the present. If there is a certain value, certain archival repositories are kept for archiving them and almost all companies or personal/corporate organizations have archives. Looking at today, digital archives that can be accessed faster and with a larger capacity have been created and continue to be used, apart from tangible archives. If we give an example of a digital archive, iCloud is a digital archive created by Apple company and used by iOS users. If you've been an Apple user at any point in your life, you probably have an iCloud archive. A technology company I worked for before did not have a concrete archive to go and look at, just everything was stored as iCloud. If something tangible is needed, a printer, etc. It was printed and used through mediation. This is a great convenience. If we had used the traditional archive, we would have spent minutes, maybe hours, to find the documents we were looking for from so much information, but when using iCloud, we could log in from any device and find what we were looking for within 1-2 minutes. As a digital lover, I think all companies should switch to a digital archive with at least 50% capacity.
