Remix Culture- Derya Özgör

Remix has become increasingly common thanks to technology and digitalization. According to Martin Irvin, the remix is seen as the founding element of a new cultural reality. So people started doing remixes of their favorite things. Thus, a remix culture began to form. The remix adds new meanings and dimensions to an existing thing, and people constantly add new things to this product, which has been produced with new creative ideas, and this existing product is gradually developing. In this way, something more valuable and creative than the original may emerge. On the other hand, the work and opinion of the owner of this existing product should be respected and his rights should not be violated while buying his work. This idea and work that belongs to him should be protected by law. Rights should be used fairly and people's ideas should not be stolen easily.
