Internet Trolls / Yasemin Yılmaz (190423079)

#Internettrolls aim to start a discussion on any topic via social media. At the same time, these internet trolls are designed to offend the individual or groups they refer to in various ironic contexts. It is almost possible to come across these internet trolls in every application used on social media. These internet trolls exist in every field, from political issues to personal issues, from culture to music. Some people participate in the discussions started by these internet trolls, they respond and they continue this trend. I would like to give an example of these internet trolls. When the Covid-19 virus, which has been in our lives for about 2 years, first started to spread, a group alarmed people by panicking. This group convinced people that we would no longer find bread, that everyone would starve in the process, and that they had to go to the markets to get their last rations. All the people took to the streets to collect their mostly unnecessary provisions. Of course, this process did not progress very well and this situation was spread on social media by internet trolls in the form of #memes. However, the government had stated that the markets and bakeries would be open and they would meet the needs of the people. To give another example, after the vaccine for Covid-19 was found, another group spread via social media that people who were vaccinated were chipped. People, on the other hand, started to believe in this situation, and even stated that they did not get vaccinated because of this situation, and they firmly refused the vaccine. However, science denied this and revealed the truth. That's how internet trolls present a definitive argument against people and expect people to approve it even though they're uncomfortable with it.
