INTERNET TROLLS (Derya Özgör)

Trolling or other similar names, bullying, abuse of social media is a concept that has been living since recently. By influencing troll groups or larger masses, they can shape their thoughts. It even has a certain power in influencing political events. For example, in the Gezi Park protests, certain groups on Twitter played an important role in influencing the masses. With the increase in social media platforms, trolling has started to find more space. And in this way, they can write whatever they want, whenever they want, and convey their feelings and thoughts to everyone easily and without thinking about people. Trolling can come about by adopting an idea, or it can sometimes occur without an idea and just like that. online trolling is a specific example of deviant and antisocial online behavior in which the deviant user acts provocatively and outside of normative expectations within a particular community; trolls seek to elicit responses from the community and act repeatedly and intentionally to cause disruption or trigger conflict among community members. (Fichman & Sanfilippo, 2015, p. 163) The owners of these articles written on social media have started to be very influential in major political events and normal life with the keyboard they use.
