Internet memes can be any phenomenon that is available to spread on the Internet. Any link, website, image, article or phrase can become a meme. In fact, many of the things we see on social media can be called memes. The way deer spread usually occurs through forums, social media sites, blogs, and email. Internet memes spread very quickly and become recognizable. An internet meme can be almost any idea or concept expressed in some kind of content on the web, so it can be very difficult to elaborate on it according to a real definition. It can be a photo, a video, a person, an animal, a fictional character, an event, a song, a belief, an action, a GIF, a symbol, a word or something else. When one of these things is broad enough to be decently acceptable among most people and has a humorous effect on it such as sarcasm or exaggeration, it is often shared over the Internet. Mass sharing gives the internet meme status.
