Memes are using our brains and the internet to spread themselves as widely as possible online. Science and our modern internet usage are colliding in a way that is really directly impacting humanity. Memes are moving back and forward between humans in some way that we can’t see. And the most successful memes are the ones that are imitated the most widely. Memes today have really become easy ways for us to communicate with each other. We are being influenced by these memes that are making us do ridiculous things. The internet meme culture is one that has launched a new and powerful era in digital marketing. When done correctly, meme marketing can be very successful. It’s funny how something so inherently silly can not only be examined academically but also make a lasting impact on people’s lives. From internet popularity to community building and even college rejections, internet memes have become an integral part of our culture.
