Today, we can simply divide celebrities into two categories: those who are famous through the Internet and those who are famous through platforms like TV. The definition of internet celebrities has just entered our lives. You used to stay at home watching celebrities on TV, but now you can be famous just by sitting at home. Simply pick up a phone and start shooting yourself. As you can see in different social media (instegram, youtube, tiktok etc.) there are many internet celebrities (influencer, youtuber, tiktoker etc.) they are called by names. These celebrities shoot their own videos and upload them to these sites. As the videos they shoot develop and the viewing rates increase, sponsors offer them the opportunity to advertise and they advertise some products in these videos. While making this ad, they talk about how incredible the product is and recommend you buy it. So they make money from the sponsor. Some are building their own brands and are constantly promoting it on their channels and social media. They always offer you special discounts. Let's say they didn't do any of these, so what happens when they constantly ask for likes and comments from you? You know that there is a financial result underlying such requests. Every time you like or comment on them, they earn money on you. This may not actually come out of your pocket, but don't you think this is exploitation?
