Archives have gone through considerable changes. Archivists has the ability to save or erase an individual’s history. If your history was written down, then that record wasn’t kept and someone subsequently decided to go back and describe your history not in the way that you would but rather in their perspective. Here in lies the impact the power of bias and privilege with the ability to create entire silenced landscapes of people groups entirely based on the decision of either being included or excluded from history making. But in the digital age, the word archive has gained a new aspect. It is easy to lose your data when it’s in tangible form, but this is not the case with digital archive. Everything is available within few clicks. There is so much that digital archival will save you money because there is no involvement of papers and files. One of the well-known examples of digital archives is Dropbox which is used by millions of users all around the world today. It can be accessed faster and with a larger storage and continue to be used.
