Datafied culture is a phenomenon that works with a system called algorithm, which helps to develop a new culture experience. People provide a huge database including a large amount of information related to our life and use algorithms to help with it. Every single view or a “like” button click on the internet is recorded as data and then the system can “read” it and infer which topic you are interested in. For example the app “tik tok”, there is a recommendation page which provides almost 60% to 80% videos that interest me. In addition, some shopping websites like amazon also show this kind of new experience. It can give you some options from the database according to the items that you viewed before.
