Algorithm's control over human kind by Abdulkarim Hussein.

Humans believe that algorithms will not be able to outperform humans since we make decisions based on logic, emotions, and ethics. However, with algorithmic advancements and the massive amounts of data we feed it, computers will be able to make all kinds of judgments for us. When that happens, our understanding of humanity will shift. Our lives are built on thousands of everyday decisions; if algorithms decide them for us, we will lose control and significance in our lives. We already blindly follow some algorithms, such as Google Maps, where some accidents have been documented due to a weakness in the system. One of the major concerns with our naïve faith in algorithms is that if a tiny or large fault occurs, it could result in human deaths. We witnessed how artificial intelligence might throw most humans out of work, including police officers and drivers. When rowdy humans are replaced with obeying algorithms, traffic cops will be useless. Art, religion, love, and emotion will cease to exist if algorithms decide what we should buy, who we should be friends with, where and what we should work, and so on.
